Zero-Shot Identity Classifier
Paste an experimental gene signature — Cella ranks every cell type across 12 organs by how widely it expresses your genes, and shows which of them are discriminative for each match.
For each cell type, the score is the mean fraction of its cells that express your genes. In a benchmark against external marker sets (Tabula Sapiens, Azimuth, PanglaoDB), this ranked the right cell type first about twice as often as averaging classifier weights, which spread credit across correlated genes. Each gene's classifier weight is still shown on hover. A match is called confident when the top cell type is clearly expressed and leads the next different cell type by at least 10%. Genes outside the atlas vocabulary are listed as unrecognized.
